yeah the spokes atop turning as he slides… he used too much rear brake and locked up,making him slide.

Rider estimates too high speed for the corner -> panic braking -> straight out of the turn. Even if you believe you’re going too fast it’s a safer bet simply trying to make the turn, because braking usually makes the bike go straight and not turn.
good comment…. the rider said his attention was on the rider behind him and the corner took him by surprise. He was back up last weekend looking good. He’s very happy he made it through the crash with minor injuries.
I hit a gaurd rail AND it only looked half this bad but I was hurt bad … Hes lucky It took 2 yrs for my buttcheck to go back to its home!!!!!!1

notice how bashed the guardrail already is before he hit it, haha I’m surprised it not rainbow colored from all the bikes (and cars?) that hit it.

That bike had plenty of margins to lean more, much more, and take the curve, without any problems. But hey, we’ve all been there, and that is how we learn! Important thing that he made it, and can laugh at it later!
